The VAC Program

Fun. Affordable. Dynamic.

Open to high school students with varying levels of singing experience, this program provides you with a personalized exploration into vocal arts.

Each of our sessions are led by UL Faculty with decades of expertise.

SESSIONS:

• Private lessons with voice faculty members Dr. Kelly Ann Bixby or Mr. Shawn Roy

• Choral workshops with director of choral activities, Dr. William Plummer

• Audition workshops with Natalie Connor, UL adjunct instructor

• Music Theatre workshops with Brandon Motz, UL adjunct instructor

• Introductions to yoga and dance

• Traditional Cajun music and food

• Counselor games, activities, student Q&A, and team-building

• UL Lafayette Swag

• Final public performance and reception in Ducrest-Gilfry Auditorium in Angelle Hall
